There was a phase in my late teens and early twenties where I read too many self help books. I had some knowledge gaps to fill and I would do it myself. What was interesting is that no matter what topic it covered - money, fitness, fashion, etc they all built their specific information on the same outline. And
this outline began with the rhetorical question of what your principles are. It was a very important part that always had at least one chapter to begin it all and was referenced in all the other chapters. The reasoning was this: Your goals
are built on your principles. Not one person is the same in this aspect - and because of that there is no one set way to pursue goals relating to any topic.
One example was with money - there is no one way to "do" money. If you want to
travel, or buy a home, or whatever - you would pursue dealing with your money in
a different way per goal. What was a set understood for anything was the tools
you could use to put in place to make those individual goals happen. Your
principles and needs produce the arena you work in and how you relate to the
topics and tools in that arena. This is very important for two reasons: 1) even
if we use the same methods and mediums what we are making with them IS NOT THE
SAME. We all have something different to express, and encouraging each other
creates diversity. 2) I am out to build something. It means a lot to me. Not all
of you will share in this, or agree with it. I am not talking to you. You are
free to work around me, even on this page (unless you work to undermine me -
then I will create distance), but the people I direct these words to and share
my goals with are the ones I hope will join me.

Before I begin the outline of my goals and tools I wish to give you a sense of my principles and the morals they are built on (I believe in human rights and loving/supporting one another). I wish to inform you of history to the culture I am working in and why it is I have to build this thing instead of just being a participant. I know. Initially that sounds incredibly boring and overbearing. But the truth is - if you have felt a lack in this area as much as I have than
to read this will instead feel like someone brought to light a piece of yourself and became a "brother". It will feel like someone finally understands you and gave a reason and a voice to what you were struggling with. And that will be really wonderful. Besides, If we are going to build something we have to know what we are working with. And so that is the purpose of this entry. If we are
going to talk about our businesses and how to run them what we are really
talking about here is economics and the policies put in place to govern these
things. I hear you already - Economics and politics? Julie! I thought you said
this would be wonderful - not only do I have to listen to boring stuff I have to
hear your opinion too? But lets be honest - if we are going to network our
businesses we have to understand what we are working with. If you are going to
network with me - you have to know where I am coming from.

I feel that self sufficiency is a collection of skills being lost on a
culture allowing their needs to be met through unhealthy corporate means. I think these corporations are moving to take away options outside of what they offer. I also think people aren't noticing directly because that is all they are aware of and use. I think if people can change their own awareness and lifestyles even in the most simple ways it takes money from the pockets of these corporations forcing them to change their practices to keep up with where the dollar roams. I also think that because they use outsourcing so much if we can take back control of this system that dollar will roam right back into our own country and give us some jobs back. That change of thinking in consumerism and
self sufficiency will create a difference in how we interact with ourselves, each other and the natural resources that surround us. I hope people see this
not as an overwhelming and hard to change world issue but instead make it
tangible actions in our everyday life. As Americans we still have the freedom to do this. And if we care enough we really should because those conflicts and constrictions we find intolerable become a greater
war than just changing our lifestyles.

Of course like most people I skip through life bumping into factors. I find myself reacting to and trying to understand what I think about those things. I
grow from them as I find information and people that either back me up or correct my understanding. One day while flipping through channels and stopping
on public access I stumbled across a woman named Ashley Sanders giving a talk about "creating democracy and challenging corporate rule". I was agape because
she put in a clear way the story of what I was experiencing. Except where she focused on the political fight there, I really am more concerned about the
economic side. I took notes to help me write this next section. If you want to watch her give the talk I put the link below.

A short love story between politics, economics, and the history that repeats itself
A view of power moving and developing in control between
people and the financial elites - From England, to America, to the world, to space (Plutonium...anyone? anyone?).
This is a history not of corporations in general, but in the USA,
specifically. Over 500 years ago (between the 1400's and 1500's) the ruler/king of England was needing more income. He had already tapped into working everything out of the poor - he even fought foreign wars at peoples expense to
increase his riches but really felt he needed more income. Meanwhile wealthy elites decided they would also like to make money at other people's expenses. Because of this mutual desire, and the lack of resources on their own land -
they decided to move into "a new world" that contained valuable human resources and populations that had yet to be exploited. I think you will find people do
not like to be taken advantage of and often rise up as a result so these two
canoodlers had to become more sneaky. The king made them a corporation and
offered them legitimacy legally, protection from liabilities, and the king got
some profits in return. In that choice the corporations/economic elites had
already gained influence in the government and the government gained dependency
on the corporations. This union created for both of them a vehicle to
concentrate profits - at the expense of the people and the natural resources
that surround us. 12 of the 13 colonies in the colonial period were corporate
charters. They brought over to America the kind of people who would work for the
rich elites: the poor, prisoners, kidnapped children, indentured servants,
enslaved Africans, etc. They gave these people tracks of land that belonged to
the indigenous people (after/during performing a genocide of these upset people)
- and the corporations/English government made this happen so they could make a
ton of money.

By 1750 there has been some time for these factors to develop - and by 1763 the American revolution begins because people become tired of the tyranny. We often get the story of the political upheaval - which seems to undermine the reality that economics and politics created the whole experience. Floating
around in the seas at that time was the British East India Company. This and other corporations (economic) and the king (government) had began this venture
which evolved alongside the people. This corporation had control of the court system. It was funded by members of the British Parliament (stock holders -
which these days it is a corporations legal responsibility to consider stock
holders over the people). During the revolutionary war people weren't just
trying to overthrow the tyranny of the English king - they were also trying to
overthrow the economic tyranny of the corporations. This is why you saw displays
such as the Boston tea party - a defiant act led by the people to say they did
not like the bad laws coming about from the mutual dependency of that
corporation and the government at the peoples expense. No more economic and
political tyranny! The result of this war was the constitution and the bill of
rights and a break from this tyranny. However, there were people in America who
fought not for freedoms, but rather to become the new elite. And they have been
fighting ever since to gain the rights of personhood that the constitution and
bills of rights give - and they have won. A corporation is considered, legally,
a person with all the rights of a person. They are treated as equal to us but
they live forever, have tons of money, control public opinion, limited
liability, an endless number of resources to make money from, and pay people
whatever they want. They have tons of power. This affects democracy. But Julie,
you say, they cannot vote in elections...no, I say, they can vote with their
money by buying elections and swaying our culture.

During the revolutionary war (1775 - 1783) many different types of groups ganged up together to fight against one foe. And when they won this battle they broke back into their respective groups fighting for their own differences. Since then we have seen waves of these groups getting addressed. Examples:
During the civil war (1861 - 1865) we see slaves freed and gaining the rights of personhood. After the industrial revolution was woman and children suffrage
(1888) and gaining human rights. Today we see gay, disability, and Farmers (GMO)/Marijuana (natural medicines and resources) rights and issues on the
dockets. You may also notice that today bill of rights issues, the document
defining our personhood, has come up a lot lately ex. right to privacy/drones,
gun laws, etc

The industrial revolution (1760-1840) we saw a technology boom - a new form of resources and an upgrade to our existing ones. This era changed every part of life as we know it.
WW1 (1914 - 1918) After the technology boom and new resources there were new weapons and a world power struggle over those resources. The manufacturing was extended to help with the output for the war. This manufacturing is how we meet the needs of so many people in their lifestyle today. The banks introduced financing and credit. Assigning a value of worth and overextending into credit and therefore debt.
The great depression (1929 - 1940) Worldwide economic depression.
WW2 (1939 - 1945) Other than Hitler the over all issue still had to do with
defining economic, industrial, and scientific capabilities - it related to the
governments placement of power.
Same with the below wars:
Korean war (1950 - 1953)
Vietnam war (1955 - 1975)
Gulf war/Desert storm (1990- 1991)
Iraq (2003 - 2011)
Afghanistan (2001 - present)

If you want to really trip out and getting a bigger sense of our history learn about the Rothschild family. Watch their growth in relationship to these events. The places they were at, the industries they become tycoons over, the organizations they were a part of. Learn how they become the 4 corporations that
currently own our planet and can sway it financially anyway that they want.
"There are two ways to conquer and enslave a nation. One is by the sword. The other is by debt."

"There are two ways to conquer and enslave a nation. One is by the sword. The other is by debt."
It seems evident to me that for over 500 years, and probably much longer, that there is a repetitive occurrence of wars for political gain, economic manipulation, followed by economic turmoil which creates debt. This is how they collect world resources and control over people. This is the connection between politics and economy. I believe to solve this dilemma we need to break out of this mold, take back our resources, and control the flow of economy and politics within our own communities.
